Close or screw the inner windows so that the sashes do not sag. Cut or tear the window strip to the appropriate length. Then put the strip in a bucket of cold water. Leave it for a few seconds to a minute. Pick up the strip and remove the excess water between your fingers. Press the strip firmly and straighten it using a cloth or sponge, for example. Leave to dry and the window is sealed.

To avoid adhesive residues when removing the window strips, it is recommended to first moisten the strips generously with water using a cloth or sponge. Wait a few minutes and then pull the strip off.
