Tips! If the linseed oil wax is hard and difficult to work with, it’s a good idea to put the jar on a reasonably hot radiator for a while to get a smoother consistency.
ATTENTION! Rags and tangles of linseed oil wax can catch fire. Therefore, put them in water or burn them.
Linseed oil wax for surface treatment of all absorbent surfaces such as wood, concrete, brick, slate and linseed oil painted surfaces. Provides a water-repellent surface.
The wax is applied in a thin layer with a cloth or sponge. The surface must be clean and dry. Wipe off excess wax after about 15 minutes with a clean cloth. The drying time is 1-2 days and the surface is fully cured after about 1-2 weeks.
A surface treated with linseed oil wax cannot be painted over. In order to paint the surface, the wax must first be removed, for example by sanding.
When applying to new concrete, the recommendation is to first wait a few months for the pH of the concrete to neutralize.
