65 mm

For painting large surfaces, holds a lot of paint.

Chinese hog bristle 90 tops, straight top, untreated alder wood handle. Fully molded, no water pockets.

Pig bristles. Handle of alder. Thickness 65 mm.

  • To remove loose bristles, always soap-wash a new brush before use.
  • As the brushes contain pure natural bristles, it is essential that the bristles are not exposed to drying solvents, and that the bristles are re-greased afterwards.
  • Before use: Oil the entire brush (with cooking oil, rapeseed oil, or similar) for a few days. Then soap wash out the brush.
  • After painting with water-based paints and “older” paints, e.g. egg oil tempera, glue paint, wash the brush thoroughly with soap and water.
  • After painting with oil-based paints, use a non-drying cleaner. Always finish with a soap wash.
  • It is important to smell the brush, properly washed out it only smells of soap or possibly pig bristles.
  • For longer painting breaks, lubricate the brush with soap and shape the brush so that it does not “bounce”, store the brush like that. Then carefully wash off the soap before use.
  • You can also hang the brush in a container of oil and “forget about it”. This will keep the brush in good condition until the next season.

ATTENTION! Lin oil carries the risk of spontaneous combustion in rags and tangles.
