Chains of the so-called patent model to be used for draft dampers on tiled stoves, spiral valves, etc. Thin, flexible and supple, yet strong and durable.
Can be mounted in two ways; Firstly, as a hanging arc in a single length. This method is suitable for spiral valves, for example. Partly hanging in two lengths with damper tassels as termination. This was common on the draught dampers of tiled stoves.
Normally, 150-200 cm of chain is needed depending on how high the stove is and how far down you want the chain to hang. The easiest way to shorten or cut the chain is with wire cutters.
