Cast iron wall bracket, iron lamp arm, solid brass shade holder and brass lamp holder. Hand-blown glass shade. The lamp is sold assembled with two meters of black cord and cord switch. Height 20 cm, length 43 cm. Diameter of the shade 18 cm.

Wall lights were not common in the past. However, in rooms with high ceilings, such as in community buildings, there could be many wall lights. However, they were rarely seen in homes. The exception was bedside lamps in bourgeois homes and on the larger farms. Sometimes there were also wall lamps in the farm offices. Bedside lamps were also found in old boarding houses and hotels. The model for our lamp comes from a farm in Dalarna. The original is probably made in the 1910s. The material is black iron and the workmanship of very high quality.
