Matt Linseed Oil Paint has an exceptionally matt finish and intensely deep color. It is very versatile, easy to paint with and adheres well to most surfaces. It is particularly beautiful as a wall or ceiling paint indoors, but it can also be painted on plastered surfaces, furniture and joinery.
Our different colors are suitable for both historical and modern environments and they harmonize well with each other. The paint is handmade in our own factory from high-quality pigments and linseed oil.
Because the matte linseed oil paint is thicker than regular linseed oil paint, and contains rich pigments, you get full coverage after just two coats. It also has a fast drying time of just four hours. Another advantage of matt linseed oil paint is that it can be painted relatively thickly without problems. This can be useful, for example, when you want the paint to fill in nail holes and irregularities. It is even possible to paint the paint with a thick paintbrush, instead of a regular brush!
Of course, you get the most beautiful result when you paint thinly and several times, but unlike ordinary linseed oil paint, “raisins” do not form when you apply the matte linseed oil paint too thickly. The matte linseed oil paint dries, even if it is painted too thickly.
